Edgewater Restaurant offers a good dining experience with its nice views of the ocean, making it a great spot for enjoying a meal. The fish taco and burger were good, adding to the overall appeal of the restaurant. Also Service was acceptable Like many tourist spots, you might not expect a lot. It's not exceptional and wasn't particularly outstanding, but it was a solid experience overall. Despite this, I'll give them 4 stars for providing a decent meal and beautiful views.

The food is amazing! We had the grilled shrimp tacos and the crab chowder. It was so filling and delicious. You just order the sour dough bread, as well! Our waitress was pleasant, and the view was pristine!

Anytime we visit San Diego, this is our last meal of the trip. We have always enjoyed brunch at the harbor since our children were tiny. The food is good, not great, but the view and people watching location is unbeat. The service is always nice and the restaurant is always clean. Right in the middle of Seaport Village, this place is highly recommended for a relaxing meal.

My grandfather and I had an absolutely delightful dining experience at Edgewater Grill in Seaport Village. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by the hostess who offered us a choice of seating inside or outside. We opted for the outdoor front patio, which turned out to be a fantastic decision given the stunning ocean views. Please note that the entrance is not completely disability accessible and that you do have to walk up stairs to get inside. After being seated, our waiter promptly introduced himself and took our drink orders: a Sprite for me and an iced tea for my grandfather. Once our drinks arrived we placed our food orders. I decided on the seared scallops, while my grandfather chose the classic fish and chips. The wait for our food was about 15 minutes, during which we enjoyed in beautiful seaside views . When our meals arrived, they were worth most definitely worth the wait. My seared scallops were enormous and perfectly cooked, accompanied by fresh rice and flawlessly grilled vegetables. My grandfather's fish and chips were equally impressive. He told me his fresh Alaskan cod was perfectly fried, complemented by crispy and delicious chips. Edgewater Grill not only provided us with an exceptional meal but also a memorable dining experience thanks to their excellent service, fantastic food, and picturesque location. It was a wonderful outing with my grandfather, and I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience in Seaport Village with great ocean views.

While in town and checking out Seaport Village, we decided to eat at Edgewater Grill. We had a view of the water from our table, which was lovely since the weather was perfect. We ordered oysters to start and they were tasty! My hubby even enjoyed them and they're not his favorite appetizer. So that was a win. My hubby got a salad with their fresh catch, which was halibut. I got the mushroom risotto with shrimp and I was so delicious!!! Our server was nice but we waited more than I'd like for check ins and refills/check. That's why we didn't get dessert, tbh. It wasn't super busy either but it was still a pleasant visit.

We made reservations for dinner at this great restaurant in Seaport Village for a weekday night. It was busy but we probably didn't need the reservation although it's better safe than sorry. We were immediately seated indoors with a wonderful view of the harbor. They have outdoor seating too but it was a bit chilly that night and we had noticed several tables asking to be moved indoors despite the heaters. Our spunky waitress did a fantastic job of taking care of us even considering she had far too many tables to attend to. She even took the time to come to our table and ask us if we wanted to go outside to watch a SpaceX launch as it was happening right then; it was a very cool thing to see and we appreciated her letting us know. I ordered fish and chips along with a glass of lemonade. The lemonade seemed freshly made, tart but refreshingly so. The fish was Alaskan cod, my favorite, and was light in flavor and fried perfectly. Malt vinegar was provided as was tartar sauce but the latter was used mainly to dip my thick fries into. This meal of fish and chips was the best I've had outside of the Pacific Northwest. Tiramisu for dessert! Their description: espresso & rum-soaked sponge cake, mascarpone, whipped cream, shaved chocolate. This was executed perfectly and I enjoyed the flavors in the sponge cake immensely. Considering this is a tourist spot the prices were reasonable. I'd definitely return here if I was choosing a place to eat in Seaport Village.
